Just Be

It's a little easier just to be at the beach!
A sweet elderly neighbor recently passed away.
A friend is moving out of an abusive situation.
A family member needs a surgery.
Ballet camps are in full swing.
And my heart says, "Am I doing enough?"
And I hear that still small whisper...
I'll do.
You just be.
How difficult it is just to be.

Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke iseasy and My burden is light.
Matthew 11:28

"Have you not known?
      Have you not heard?
      The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
      Neither faints nor is weary.
      His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
       ...
But those who wait on the LORD
      Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."

Isaiah 40:28-31

  1. To "just be" sounds so difficult, but for a "just do" lady like myself it is the hardest thing! Thanks for the reminder.

Hope the camps are going well and you're enjoying every moment!

  7. Such a great reminder. To "be" a part of each moment and trust and find peace in God through it all!
