10 Carnival Cruise Outfits

The hubby and I are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year. To make the year memorable, we decided to splurge and go for a Carnival Fun Cruise. Sun, rest, all the food you can eat, beaches, and no kids? I'm in!!
We had a wonderful time. I took dramamine and felt absolutely no motion sickness (well, actually I felt sick when we got off the boat! The ground continued to rock for a full 24 hours!) We read and lounged and ate (sometimes 6 or 7 meals a day!) and went to shows and walked on the Bahamas beaches and slept...It was truly wonderful. Part of the fun time was making sure outfits fit our activities. Here are ten of mine from the trip--
The first three outfits feature the magic scarf: as a dress, as a shirt under a jacket, and as a blouse with a skirt. I also wore the scarf as a long skirt and a short skirt but didn't get pics.
These were three of my dinner outfits. Red dress with white wedges, navy rope necklace used as a bracelet; green tank, purple skirt, gold belt and shoes, bluejean jacket; navy dress (made out of an old prom dress's skirt), red sweater, and white wedges.
Day outfits included bathing suits (of course), short and long dresses, and swimsuit cover-ups.

  8. How adorable! Hot hot hot in that red dress. :) I love the colorful outfit next to it, too — cool color combinations. And I'm way impressed that anyone could make a great dress out of an old prom dress's skirt! That must have been some prom dress.

Glad you had fun! I get motion sick, too, so it's good to hear it's not a certainty if I ever get to cruise!
