Thankfulness, Day #3

I have thanked Him for the big things and the hard things; today I think upon the little things...
chin and elbow kisses
hair diddles
bracelets
pumpkin muffins
chocolate chips
white paper
blurb books
baby dolls
blocks
creativity
ice water
play grounds
blogging
colors
hair cuts
bath time
snuggle time
little toes
toy cars
a boy who can make anything into a garage
that same boy climbing into my lap
whispering
giggles
football in the front yard
baking with the oldest
birthdays
cake : )
music
dancing
the ability to read
the window above my kitchen sink
rain
new clothes
travelling
notes of the oldest spread all over the house
colored pictures on our refrigerator
snow
fall leaves
rain boots
books
fire places
warmth
a new iPhone
presents
time (oh blessed time!)
fresh flowers
cooking
holidays

You and I both know I could keep going like this for many days! I am so thankful for all these little things that have been pressed down, shaken together, and piled on me!
"Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence." Psalm 27:5-7

  5. Yes, our lists could go on. I'm so glad for a holiday that brings these things to mind. Otherwise we might hurry past the thankfulness.

Speaking of which, thank you for hosting this and inviting us to join you. It has been fun to hop around and meet some new friends. :)

  6. Visiting from Natural Parents Network!

It is always good to remember to not sweat the small stuff, but also to be thankful for all the little things. Sometimes I look at my daughter and just get all teary-eyed, thankful for my wonderful family!
