First Haircut

I remember each first haircut...
The oldest's was to cut a lock of hair that grew longer than the rest from her birth. We cut it off in a motel room while in another town attending a friend's graduation from med school.
The boy's was at a temporary house after we moved out of our last house and before we moved into our current house. I still remember those whispy curls falling away.
And now the youngest...
I did not realize until after I had cut them that this was her very first hair cut!
Take this
subtract this

and you get this.
I'm sure that even from the back you can tell how much older she looks!

  1. They grow up so fast! And it's harder when they do so in leaps and bounds right before your eyes!

  2. I kept a wisp of hair from each of my children's first haircuts. Your daughter's hair is a beautiful color!

  3. My daughter was two before we got her hair cut but afterwards you couldn't tell it was just a trim.

  4. You did it! It looks good from the back! She looks older, even from the back. Sigh.

  5. Aw, they grow up too fast. So sweet that you remember each. Happy WW!

  6. The first hair cut! I'm glad that my dd won't have to have one for awhile either.

  7. So sweeet, such a precious memory. Thanks for sharing with us.

  8. The first haircut is always the hardest. I found my girls locks the other day from their first haircut. Precious!

  9. It's amazing, how one little haircut can really mature them isn't it? I'm all weepy these days reminiscing about my children and how quickly they seem to be growing. I really enjoyed this. Reminds me of my firstborn's first hair cut, 15 years ago. :(
