Highlights from STL

Scenic Picnic on the way to STL at Land Between the Lakes

We recently returned from a trip to see the grandparents in St. Louis. We love seeing the
family of course, and we always have a great time trying to fit in different STL attractions.
Besides the ones pictured, we love to do the zoo (it's free hurray!) and the Science Center (also free!). I'm determined to get us to the City Museum someday as well because even though it costs, it looks SO cool!

Very cool neighborhood park that includes a great track around a lake, awesome playground and splash pad
(what more could we ask for?)
Take me out to the ballgame!
We took our kids to their first (of MANY, I am sure!) Cardinals ballgame!
(And it was 4hrs long and they lost, but the kids loved it anyway!)
Hiking and picnicking at the beautiful Klondike Park

  13. Definitely go to The City Museum when you get a chance. It's totally worth the cost...just give yourself plenty of time to get your money's worth. We visited there last November and were planning to take our kids to the Arch until my cousin's wife talked us into the City Museum. My kids were wowed!

I think STL is a great city! Glad you got to enjoy some of it. And isn't it cool that their zoo is FREE?

  14. Ooh, I remember Mer's post about City Museum. We still have tons of family and friends there (duh) so maybe we should plan a trip soon. Well, after the heat of the summer is over - ha!
