Homemade Gifts Post #2

I Love to Make Homemade Gifts!
A long while back (all the way in February!) I posted a Homemade Gifts Post #1. I'm sure you've all been on the edge of your seats waiting for post #2 in the series, and here it is...
I've been collecting interesting and cute gift ideas from blogs that I visit, and I know I can't wait to try some of these projects out!
My absolute favorite is this felt dahlia! Holidash featured it as a Mother's Day corsage, but it could be a corsage for so many occasions.

This literal book bag (a bag make from a book!) gets my creativity award. Wow! What a great idea, and it would be a great conversation starter.

I also love these "ceramic paper roses." They do look very ceramic, but the instructions for making them sound so easy. (I guess I just have a thing for flowers you can wear!)

Speaking of things to wear, these antique button rings are a great gift idea. I'm imagining a trip to a cute little antique store I pass several times a week (but of course would never enter with the crew of children I'm always with) to find some buttons which I would then simply fasten to some simple craft rings.

And do you ever see cute placemats on sale at Target or other places and wish that you had a use for them? Well, here are a few ideas. You could make a diaper clutch or a pillow out of them!

For those younger critters on your list how about some of these stuffed animals? If you have a sewing machine, they look very easy and so cute!

To finish off, check out this paper clip jewelry (believe me, this is not your old-fashioned paper clip!), these beautiful homemade candy boxes, and this site with lots of various homemade gift ideas.
