The Winter is Past (Hopefully)

 For lo, the winter is past,

      The rain is over and gone.

       The flowers appear on the earth;
      The time of singing has come,
      And the voice of the turtledove
      Is heard in our land.

Song of Solomon 2:11-12
(And no, your eyes do not deceive you, there is a tiny little bee buzzing toward my iris. God's little addition to my pic--I only saw the iris!)

  1. That is either one really big Iris or one itty-bitty bee!

    Great shot. Happy WW!

  2. Beautiful picture, I've got some that color as well. My favorite are some bright yellow ones that opened up overnight.

  7. Gorgeous flower! What is it? Oh and I love the Song of Solomon scripture. It's my favorite book in the Bible. :)
    Thanks so much for stopping by and linking your WW post up over at my place last week. It may have taken me a few days to make it over here, but I did! lol Have a great day.
