One of My Favorite Pics of My Oldest

Boy this is a walk down memory lane, or memory "tracks" to be exact. Here's my oldest on a walk with her daddy and Grandpa quite a while ago. Before we lived where we do now, we lived in the country near the train tracks. One of our favorite things to do was to walk down to the tracks and see a train come by (and bark at all the dogs along away and moo at the cows, you get the picture.) There is something quite awe-inspiring in being near a train. It's loud and squeaky and it nearly takes your breath away by how large it truly is. Well, on this walk, Daddy and Grandpa decided to take the fun a step further and let the wee one actually walk on the tracks. Her Granna was appalled, her mom laughed (but was secretly glad she was not there), and the picture was saved for posterity's sake. How's that for a "wordless" Wednesday? : )

Second, I love the train tracks picture. As a mom I do kind of get that heart in the throat feeling like WHERE is the TRAIN? But what a fun picture and memory. We don't get to see trains very often.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I look forward to following yours!
